Charles Staats is General Manager of AdvanceTec Safe Deposit Services Inc. For the last 27 years, he has worked exclusively in the safe deposit box service industry. During that time, he has personally drilled and repaired over 21,000 safe deposit boxes and rotated or re-keyed over 110,000 safe deposit locks and has gained expertise in lock and key problems, safe deposit door problems, appropriate dual control key storage and procedures, drill procedures and issues, box cleaning do's and don'ts, box relocations, and virtually every other facet of the safe deposit business. Mr. Staats has also been a convention speaker on safe deposit-related topics and has authored Safe Deposit Lock Service Manual, an in-house training manual.
