Pauli Loeffler hails from the small town (population 4,222) of Bristow, Oklahoma in Creek County and is a third generation lawyer and mother of six children. She attended the University of Oklahoma, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1979, and a Juris Doctorate in 1982. Following graduation from law school, Loeffler joined the family law where her practice emphasized title examination for title insurance, contracts and probate. She was elected to membership in the Tulsa Title and Probate Lawyers Association in 1986. In January 1988, Pauli became the Estate Administrator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. After moving to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1989, she joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in its Oklahoma City Field Office as a staff attorney in the bankruptcy section. From June 2004 until January 2011, Pauli served as assistant general counsel for the Oklahoma Bankers Association responding to a multitude of legal and compliance questions from the Association’s member banks. When the OBA outsourced its Legal and Compliance department in January, 2011 to BankersOnline, Pauli joined BOL and holds the position of general counsel.
