Wow! That's great! $3.25 around here, but some are still in the $3.40 range. I've heard that Jersey has dropped lower than $3.

I filled up for $2.86 in Yukon, Oklahoma yesterday - wish it was that cheap here....
Isn't it sad that we are now conditioned to think that less than $3/gal is "cheap"..... No way? I yuck-on peep!! I'm in Bethany. I live in Iowa Park, Texas but my daughter had a cardiologist appointment at Mercy so we went through Yukon - that is the cheapest I have seen gas in a long time.....

We're at 3.34-ish this morning but I have hopes of going below 3.00 by the weekend.

4 weeks ago today, I filled up at $4.279/gallon, and this morning on the drive to work, the cheapest station was showing $3.539 - huge difference (in the right direction) over the course of a month, thank goodness! Here in Chicagoland, we're currnetly paying anywhere from $3.53 to $3.75. A month ago, we were paying over $4.00. I would love to see us lose another $.50-$.75 /per gallon, but I'm not holding my breath.

I would love to see us lose another $.50-$.75 /per gallon, but I'm not holding my breath. I was just in the Chicago and surrounding area late last week and this past weekend for a funeral. From the Indiana/Illinois boarder to Chicago, west to Ottawa and noth to Niles, gas prices ranged from $3.29-$4.09. The highest prices seemed to be just north of Chicago. That's a huge price difference.

In the land of Mickey Mouse, gas prices are around $3.40 a gallon. That's about 65-70 cents less than they were when oil was $147/barrel. When you do the math, with oil less than $95/barrel, we should be paying around $2.60-$2.75 a gallon. Only this week did gas start to drop by more than 2 or 3 cents per week.

Its too bad that now that the price of gas is dropping, that we still cannot afford to go anywhere.

Yup, 50 to 75 cents lower would be great! I'll take the 8 cents it dropped overnight here and not complain, though.

Of course I drive a Civic and I was at roughly a quarter tank. I just filled up my Civic for $34, but I was running on fumes by the time I arrived at the gas station. That's the first time I've been under $35 for several months now.

When I left work yesterday afternoon it was $3.79 locally so I got it for $3.55 where I live. This morning it was down to $3.55 here at work.

Gas on way home from work yesterday was 3.56, which representes a ten cent drop from the day before.
Passed the same station last night - two hours later - and it was down to 3.49!
