Anyone reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert?
I've enjoyed reading the book so much that I ordered the audio book for my Ipod. I was surprised to find out that the book is narrated by Elizabeth herself.
I’m definitely looking forward to the movie.

Read it in the summer 2 years ago. Loved it. Can't wait for the movie (hope they haven't made a mess of the book). Love the premise, that is, taking off on such an adventure. Sounds perfect for anyone in Compliance these days, lost much maligned souls that we all are.

Going with some friends and leaving the SOs at home. Don't think they will like it.

I just started the book. I wasn't for sure if I would get in to it, but your posts make me want to try.

Pale, you want gratuitous violence go see The Expendables. Stalone, Mickey Rorke, Jet Li, cameos by Willis and Governor Swartz, oh and that hottie from The Italian Job, I think his character was Gorgeous Rob. Big guns, little guns, lots of knives and bone snapping. And not even one kiss! ::shudder::

And not even one kiss! ::shudder:: On Friday a number of couples went to the movies together and all the women saw Eat, Pray...whatever while the guys all saw The Expendables. We met up afterwards for ice cream to tell the girls what they had missed. (One husband asked "why would you waste your time with the Erin Brockavich movie when The Expendables was playing?") Can't say it was the greatest movie ever and I'm sure the Academy will overlook it but we had a good time.

Seen Expendables---shoot em up movie---with hubby. I was sort of bored--plotwise-- but loved watching Sly Stallone.
Will see Eat, Pray, Love--by myself--my husband said it would be boring and didn't get good move reviews!!!!!

I am a bit behind and saw Inception this weekend, which was hard to follow, but no more so than trying to understand Stallone when he speaks....the show should have been called the Dependsables or the Incomprehensables.....

We saw Eat Pray Love this weekend. The beginning reminded us of Under The Tuscan Sun. Julia Roberts in this movie reminded me of our friend Ruby. Overall, I liked the movie.
