We are an ISB. We have an LPO in a county that is not considered an assessment area. Can we receive credit for services provided by our officers in that county? I know that for investments it is possible to obtain credit if the investment covers a broader region.

If you have already done a good job providing CD services in your AA, you MAY be able to get credit. It's up to the examiners.

It never hurts to ask but be sure that you are already covering the AA first. You wouldn't want them to think that you didn't understand the reg or didn't know what you are doing.
