Can anyone give further guidance on what specifically would be included in the public comments section of the CRA public file? I can't seem to find further clarification other than "public comments" and I want to be certain as to what that is. Thanks!

228.43 establishes the requirements for your public file:
(1) All written comments received from the public for the current year and each of the prior two calendar years that specifically relate to the bank's performance in helping to meet community credit needs, and any response to the comments by the bank, if neither the comments nor the responses contain statements that reflect adversely on the good name or reputation of any persons other than the bank or publication of which would violate specific provisions of law;

Such as?

The bank doesn't appear to lend in X area of the community. We need a mobile home loan, why don't you make them?

Anything that seems to indicate that you are not meeting the needs of the community from a lending standpoint. Or those that say that you do, of course.
