Are Escrow paid property taxes required to be on the 1098's for yearend reporting? Please provide any guidance on where to find the answer to this within the regulations. Is this something you do manually or does your core processor do this for you? Inquiring minds just wondering. Thank you!!

You won't find anything in a regulation since 1098 is an IRS form. The instructions for completing the form can be found on the IRS website.

Thank you for your response. I looked on the IRS website too. I just wanted to make sure there was not a regulation on the escrows that required us to report it. Appreciate your help! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
