Can Et AL Appoint Themselves POD On Estate?

I have no idea what an "et AL" might be, but there is no such things as a POD on an estate account in any State. An estate account does not die.

Editor's note: "Et al" is an abbreviation for the Latin (and legal) term "et alii," which simply means "and others." It's used to indicate there are other persons in whatever list is being presented, but there's not room to show all the names. For an estate account, it might signify that there are multiple personal representatives. But the key information here is what Randy points out -- there cannot be a Pay on Death beneficiary on an estate account.
