Answered by:

Question:
Are communications with the borrower by email or text allowed?
Answer:

Generally communications by email or text are allowed, but care needs to be taken to assure that the consumer, not a third party, receives the message. The regulations contain detailed procedures to assure that the email address or text number is correct.
