Counterfeit cashier's checks drawn on Tri City National Bank, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, are reportedly in circulation

Tri City National Bank, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.

The counterfeit items display the proper routing number of 075001199 for Tri City National Bank. The counterfeit items and the authentic checks are similar. However, authentic cashier's checks are printed on a red background with a darker red border. The counterfeit items are in many colors. Authentic checks also display a watermark of the bank's logo in the center of the check. Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic cashier's check (VOID) are attached for your review.
