Counterfeit cashier's checks drawn on Orange Savings Bank, ssb, Orange, Texas, are reportedly in circulation

Orange Savings Bank, ssb, Orange, Texas, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.

The counterfeit items display the proper routing number of 313172670 for Orange Savings Bank. The counterfeit items and the authentic checks are similar. However, authentic cashier's checks are on perforated paper; "Original Document" is clearly visible on the back of the check; and the "VOID" watermark is visible when photocopied. Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic cashier's check (VOID) are attached for your review.
