Counterfeit cashier's checks drawn on Evergreen Bank, Seattle, Washington, are reportedly in circulation

Evergreen Bank, Seattle, Washington, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.

The counterfeit items display the proper routing number of 125006390 for Evergreen Bank. The counterfeit items and the authentic checks are similar. However, authentic cashier's checks have the wording "Original Document" clearly visible on the back of the check. In addition, the counterfeit items have the number "32" in the lower-left portion of the front of the check. Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic cashier's check (VOID) are attached for your review.
