C-Plant Federal Credit Union, Paducah, Kentucky, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation. The items are reportedly associated with a fraudulent mystery shopper employment scam.
