Counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the name Mid-Missouri Bank are reportedly in circulation

id-Missouri Bank, Springfield, Missouri, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.
The counterfeit items display the routing number 086503424, which is assigned to Mid-Missouri Bank. The items are similar to authentic cashier's checks; however, the counterfeit items display a security feature statement embedded in the top border and two signature lines in the lower-right corner.
Authentic cashier's checks display a security statement and padlock symbol vertically within the right border.
Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic check (VOID) are attached for your review. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and that additional variations may be presented.
