Counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the name Bank of Gower, Gower, Missouri, are reportedly in circulation

Bank of Gower, Gower, Missouri, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.

The counterfeit items display the routing number 101215451, which is assigned to Bank of Gower. A security feature statement is embedded in a darkened top border and along the bottom between two padlocks. The items display the bank's logo and name in the top-left corner and have one signature line.

Authentic cashier's checks display the bank's logo and name in the top-center area. The statement "TWO SIGNATURES REQUIRED OVER $2000.00" is shown above two signature lines. A padlock icon and vertical security statement are shown in the right border.

Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic cashier's check (VOID) are attached for your review. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and that additional variations may be presented.
