Counterfeit checks bearing the name Gulfstream Business Bank, Stuart, Florida, are reportedly in circulation

Gulfstream Business Bank, Stuart, Florida, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.

The counterfeit items display the routing number 067014712, which is assigned to Gulfstream Business Bank. A security statement is embedded in a darkened top border and along the bottom border between two padlock icons. The bank's name and address appear in the top-center area.

Authentic checks display the bank's name, address, Web site, telephone number and fax number in the top-left corner.

Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic check (VOID) are attached for your review. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and that additional variations may be presented.
