Counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the name Gilmer National Bank, Gilmer, Texas, are reportedly in circulation

Gilmer National Bank, Gilmer, Texas, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.
The counterfeit items display the routing number 111905612, which is assigned to Gilmer National Bank. The items also display a security statement embedded in a darkened top border and along the bottom border between two padlock icons. The words "CASHIER'S CHECK" appear in the top center.
Authentic cashier's checks have an image of the Gilmer National Bank building in the top-left corner. The bank's logo and name appear in the top-center area. The words "CASHIER'S CHECK" appear in red text in the lower-left corner.
Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic check (VOID) are attached for your review. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and that additional variations may be presented.
