Counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the name Great Southern Bank, Springfield, Missouri, are reportedly in circulation

Great Southern Bank, Springfield, Missouri, has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.
The counterfeit items display the routing number 286573322, which is assigned to Great Southern Bank. A security feature statement is embedded in a darkened top border and along the bottom border between two padlocks. The bank's logo, address and location are top-centered.
Authentic checks are pink and contain a security feature statement, "GREAT SOUTHERN BANK," which is repeated in small print on the outside border. The checks display the bank's logo, address and location and two telephone numbers in the top center.
Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic check (VOID) are attached for your review. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and that additional variations may be presented.
