Counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the name First Farmers Bank & Trust are reportedly in circulation

First Farmers Bank and Trust Company, Converse, Indiana,has contacted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to report that counterfeit cashier's checks bearing the institution's name are in circulation.
The counterfeit items display the routing number061103056, which is assigned to Wachovia Bank, N.A., Buford, Georgia. First Farmers Bank and Trust Company issues its cashier's checks using a payable-through account at Wachovia Bank, N.A. The items are light tan and display a security feature statement embedded within a darkened top border and along the bottom border between two padlock icons. The phrase "AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE" is displayed below the signature line in the lower-right corner.
Authentic checks are green and display a security feature statement below the top border. A padlock security icon appears below the right side of the written dollar amount line.
Copies of a counterfeit item and an authentic check (VOID) are attached for your review. Be aware that the appearance of counterfeit items can be modified and that additional variations may be presented.
