Income Tax Time

Income tax filing can be done through the financial institution and refunds received in two or three weeks according to MBE Service Company, which markets a service called Ready-Return.

The customer obtains an instruction packet from the financial institution, returns the completed forms to the customer service rep or data processing staff. Information is then wired directly to IRS computer centers. The only mail involved is the sending of W-2 wage statements and an authorization form signed by the taxpayer.
