Set 'Em Up, Joe?

It happened in Maryland, according to a Security Officer from the Black-Eyed Susan State.

A bunch of guys were out drinking, and having a pretty good time, when they ran out of money.

One of them, just a little more inebriated than the others, had a canceled passbook from a local bank.

He talked the others into driving him to a branch of the bank so he could "get us some money."

When he got inside the bank, as luck would have it, there was a teller proving cash on the back counter behind the teller's area.

He presented the passbook and withdrawal to another teller and she went to check out the information.

He then proceeded to vault over the barrier, grab $2,000 from the counter, and run out!

When his buddies in the car saw him running out of the bank waving the cash in his hand, they sobered up quickly-realizing what he had done.

They promptly locked the doors of the car and would not let him in! He was quickly arrested.

The police gave him plenty of time to sober up, and the bank recovered all its money.

I wonder if they gave him back his canceled passbook?
