Use Zip Lock Bags And Tupperware

We received a letter in the BANKERS' HOTLINE office we'd like to share with you.

After reading our article about flooding and the danger to safe deposit boxes, one of our readers said the least expensive insurance she could provide for her safe deposit renters was to suggest they put everything in the box in not only one, but several, zip locked, waterproof bags. The other idea she passed along is that if the box is large enough, put the bags into a Tupperware container for extra protection. That way the box renter can feel more secure that the papers and other items in the box will stay dry, even in case of flooding.
