Some Days Everything Just Goes Wrong

The plan was original. It was for one of the trio to divert police by setting off pipe bombs while his friends robbed the bank.

One bomb was to be set off somewhere around downtown Orlando, Florida, and a fake bomb was to be put on a nearby Interstate to lure police away.

Unfortunately, while assembling the bomb, it went off, injuring the "expert bomb maker" enough to lead to a lot of questions by the police. The "expert" bomb maker is now serving 6 ? years on bomb charges. His "friends" were convicted of conspiring to rob a bank, making pipe bombs, and conspiring to use and carry firearms during a planned robbery. Maximum sentence can be life in prison.

All this for a robbery that never took place!
