E-Rules for Ads

If a web site ad triggers disclosures, the ad must contain a clear and easy-to-use cross reference to that information. At a minimum, this reference must tell the customer where the information is located. The best way to make the reference is to provide a link to the information, such as the historical example or recent APRs.

In situations where disclosures may be integrated into the document, rather than set apart and grouped together, the web site must bring up or display the disclosures automatically or provide a non-bypassable link.
