FDIC's Web Service
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is encouraging financial institutions to register for FDICconnect, a Web service designed to facilitate communication between the FDIC and financial institutions. The site offers a number of electronic business transactions that can improve overall operating efficiencies including the ability to:
- File applications and reports with FDIC
- Download current and recent assessment invoices or certified statements and request duplicate invoices and statements for the past five years
- Register and update Automated Clearing House information for assessment payments
- Change or correct information about the institution and notify FDIC of branch closings
- Send secure email to the FDIC
- Order or download products from the FDIC
- Receive Financial Institution Letters and Special Alerts electronically
- Send questions, comment or complaints to the agency.
Interested financial institutions should designate a coordinator and register that coordinator with FDIC by calling (877) 275-3342 or going to www.fdic.gov.
