An Auditors Nightmare
Every auditor I have ever talked to really loves their job, and feels that they can meet the challenge of today adequately-if they are given the chance.
The biggest frustration they have, however, is trying to reconstruct what occurred long after the fact-when the trail is stone cold.
The auditor's nightmare starts out with a phone call..."I guess I should have called you a week ago, but we weren't sure that there was really anything wrong...!"
Auditors would rather get the call and prove there is nothing wrong, while the facts are still fresh and "hot."
