Tired of complaints? A report from a study by the Office of Consumer Affairs says 96% of unhappy customers never complain about discourtesy-but 91% of them will not go back to do business again where they have been offended. And, what's worse, most unhappy customers will tell of their dissatisfaction to at least nine other people. Some of them will tell as many as 20.

Just when we were getting used to the term "Yuppies", a name given to the Baby-Boomers, along comes "Yiffies"! This acronym stands for Young, Individualistic, Freedom minded, and Few, describing the Baby Busters-those born from 1965 on. They have also been dubbed "Computer Babies" by some psychologists, because they have developed along with their PCs. Maybe they can keep your computer from going down at the wrong times!

Monday morning blues? The American Medical Association says that oversleeping on weekends can be bad for you. It upsets your body rhythm, leading to Sunday night insomnia. The result can give you Monday morning depression. Of course, with more and more financial institutions being open for business on Saturday and Sunday, this may not be a problem for a lot of bankers!

An Administrative Management Society survey reported that personnel managers considered experience as the most important quality affecting hiring decisions(73%) Next came enthusiasm and motivation (49%), education (44%) and communication skills (43%).

Soviet banking in 1988 changed from a one state owned monopoly to five specialized banks. Each bank serves one sector: agriculture, municipal services, industrial construction, personal savings, and international banking. They also started a commercial banking sector. Within the past two years, 265 private commercial banks have started up in Russia. They are not yet permitted to accept deposits of individuals, but plans to do so are in the works according to the Soviet Finance Ministry.
