Banc One Corp, out of Columbus, Ohio, is installing 2000 ATMs in Mail Boxes Etc. throughout the United States, providing some forms of banking for mail store customers.
The new ATMs will dispense pre-paid phone cards, postage stamps, and other products besides cash.Some Mail Boxes Etc. locations will also have a Banc One automated loan machines and video kiosks that connect with small business bankers and high tech banking services.
The other part of the deal has Mail Boxes Etc. opening modified centers in select Banc One branches, where they can provide postal services, packing and shipping, photocopying, faxing and office supplies for bank customers.
