New Year's Resolutions

Carry a copy of Regulation Z and Official Staff Commentary at all times so that when trapped somewhere or snowed in, I can re-read the entire regulation and commentary.

Meet with other compliance managers at least four times in 1997 to share ideas and solutions and to get information on how their examination went!

Call my examiner and ask a compliance question or just stay in touch to establish and maintain a working relationship.

Learn to use the internet for compliance purposes, including checking the OFAC list regularly.
