Appointment at the FRB

This seems to be the season for appointments. Louise Roseman has been appointed Director of the Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems, effective June 13, 1999. Roseman has a wealth of experience in the industry and at the FRB. In her early days at the FRB, Roseman was one of the principle architects of the payment sections of Regulation CC.

The Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment systems oversees the Federal Reserve Banks services to banks and government agencies. The Office's primary impact in the compliance world is the payment system.
