Section 314(a) Back in Business

As a Valentine's Day present, FinCEN announced that the information requests issued under Section 314(a) will be reactivated beginning February 18, 2003. Under the revised procedure, institutions will have more time for responding (10 days) than under the earlier attempt to implement Section 314(a).
