too many of Ron's special brownies that night?

There is a man that walks around my Dad's house. You catch him in the corner of your eye mostly in the living and dining rooms. He sometimes will yell for me like my Dad would. I fell for it a couple times.

But my Grammy has had several strange things happen to her. Her favorite occurrance was a visit from her brother during WWII. I don't know if this qualifies as a ghost story though, because he wasn't dead. He wrote faithfully to his little sister while he was overseas with great detail about the sites he'd seen and the excitement. She says now she can see he was clearly trying to keep her from worrying with the letters full of good things. Then the letters stopped. For months. She was distraught. You'd have to know Grammy...professional worrier anyway. One night she was particularly upset and finally dozed off only to be shaken awake. By her brother. He sat down on her bed and told her that he was in India and was not allowed to write and let anyone know where they were. He said he was fine and would be able to start writing again soon. Then he lit a cigarette and told her he had to go but not to be so worried. The next morning she told her whole family the story and they laughed at her. Until she received a package from India containing a packet of letters and some knicknacks that her brother sent to her.

Now you just hold on there a sec lil' philly. I stated that a putrid stench caused me to vanish, not that I was the source of it. I am surmising that it arose from where you silently slept (well not so silently, there was a gaseous rumbling noise and all...)
