What am I doing wrong? that happens to me on my laptop at home...but i can do it here at work

are you guys using the 3 on the keypad on the right, instead of the 3 on the top? at home on my laptop...i only have the 3 at the top...and it doesn't work here at work...i use the 3 on the ten-key...and it works is that the "issue"?

you should have numbers on the keys too, fixin. you may have to do a "function" thing. thats what i have to do on my laptop.
usually the 0 is on the m, 1,2,3 are on j, k, l, etc.

Also too, look on your laptop keys for "function keys" not the F1 etc., but on my toshiba, I can hit Function, alt, and wherever the "3" is within the letter keys and that will work. look at this one: http://www.notebookreview.com/assets/2013.jpgit's fn, alt, L and that will work t♥♥
