Who went home? Did that poor kid lose enough weight?

the kid lost 11 pounds. mandi went home.

I was shocked that Mandi gained 2 pounds and that the black team won the weigh in after their 24 hours of luxury where they eat over 15,000 calories. Mandi did the right thing in voting for someone else so her sister would stay there.

I am more than ready to see Ron go home.

i know!!! there is no way the black team should have won. that was shocking!!!

they should give ron a week off to go get excess-skin-removal surgery - he'd lose about 50 pounds right there!!! but as icky as he is to look at, he is consistently losing 5-7 pounds a week. got to give him credit there.

On one of the shows recently where the losers had doctor visits, they spoke about Ron's health concerns. It was mentioned that he had previously had gastric bypass... that's why the lower part of his stomach looks "tucked in" while the middle section has excess skin.
That's the simple version. I know there was more to it.

(Also, if you remember, there was a three-way alliance... they stuck together... that's why Dane was voted off.)

I just watched this week's show last night. Ron still has those armadillo abs going but he is losing weight steadily! And his son is doing great also! Very inspirational!

Who went home? I missed it.

Kathy (I think that's her name), the mom that has the daughter still on the show, went home. She looked really good in the after pictures. They all went home for a week and had to run a half marathon while they were there.

I'm so glad that all the guys started wearing shirts and the women started wearing something more than a bra during weigh in.

so what happened, I missed it... I never turned it back after the presidents speech or whatever.

Aubrey(sp)and Filipe fell below the yellow line and Aubrey was sent home.

They all went back to wearing their original colors and are competing individually now. They chose their trainers also.

I have to admit, I was moved when the father said he hoped he didn't make enough to put his son under the yellow line, and his son said he hoped his dad did make enough.

And very glad that they both got to stay!

I like the son, Mike, but I am tired of Ron, the dad a little. I thought that Tara did amazing in the challenge and the boys should be ashamed of themselves being beat by a girl who had the most extra weight added to the car she pulled. She beat them bad, it wasn't close at the end.

However I don't know if Tara was doing a little game playing only losing 3 pounds instead on her "normal" loss since she had immunity. She would have been below the yellow line if she didn't have immunity.

Next week should be interesting as they bring back the players who have been voted off and we get to see how they have done. Oh boy the silver team will be back, I wonder if they are talking to each other yet? It will also be interesting to see how the older white team are doing as well as orange and red.

if anyone gets to come back to stay, i hope it's the silver woman who went home originally. she got totally hosed by her partner. and i love the older white team.

and it was cool to see the older dad from last season do the ad for the pound for pound thing. he still looks good!!

The previews make it seem that the dad from the brown team has chest pains. They showed an ambulance. We'll see what happens.

I wish the dad had gone home last night!

What I want to know is how Nicole(?)gained 5 pounds.

Bob kind of hinted that it might have been stress.

Nicole goes home at week 1 & loses something like 87 pounds.
Comes back this week & gains 5 ???
I just got the "gut feeling" (pun intended) she had to be doing something at home that she didn't on the ranch . . . like diet pills ?
