I agree, with Ron the blue team will fall below the yellow line. Dane did great losing 100 pounds in 8 weeks. I don't think that Bob will be very happy.

They shouldn't even have mentioned that it was all up to him. It was up to ALL of them. He just happened to be weighed last (except that I think they pick the order of the weigh ins in advance [I think they weigh them all before the weight in so they know who to weigh when for the most drama]).

That is what those shows are all about. The drama is what keeps us coming back.

I agree, it is not all up to Mike. Yes he needs to lose 10 pounds to keep everyone there but it is due to 2 of the people only losing 3 pounds that has brought it to this point. If Mike loses 7 he did has part while the others failed.

Mike did a great and kind thing by giving his prize (one year free groceries) to Audrey.

Also, I didn't think Jillian was that mean. I thought the way they made it sound, that she was going to hit someone.

I haven't watched last nights episode yet. Was there any clarification on the actual results of Dane's marathon? If they dont issue a clarification or apology, I'm done watching the show.

i didn't hear anything about a clarification or apology. i hadn't heard anything about dane's not actually running the full race, but i'm not surprised. i think most of the show is not accurate anyway, though....

The article I linked it probably the best explanation...but do you remember when Dane got voted off they showed him running a marathon with his wife at the very end of the show? Turns out he didn't run the whole thing, the tv producers gave him a ride.

What I love is how they go to commercial with some image of Bob with his mouth agape as if the person being weighed suddenly gained back every pound they had lost the entire season...then they come back from commercial and it turns out they lost 10 lbs.

What do they do, ask Bob to pretend he is shocked so they can use the image to build the drama?

The only apology so far was just issued in a statement to the papers from what I could find...

i agree. you know they are pre-weighed before they get to "the big scale", and later on, they all start wearing those tight tanktops anyway - when they need them less - so just keep those tops ON!!!

anyone else think that it might be time for new trainers? bob had his meltdown with the silver chick, and is all weepy about the team shuffle (which happens every season). and now jillian is saying she can't wait til the end of this season and she's "done".

I hadn't thought about bringing in new trainers, but I agree that it's probably time to do so. I think that they both need to retire. I'd love to see the guy that was on the celebrity weight loss show as one. I can't remember his name but he always reminded me of a Marine drill sargent.
