TT Regs, I can't remember the names to all the songs but here are the ones I remember: Adam sang "If I Can't Have You," Kris sang "She Works Hard for the Money," Danny sang "September," and Matt sang "Stayin' Alive." I had never heard Anoop's song (or else his version was just unrecognizable) but I think it was something like "Dim the Lights." Can't remember Lil's at all.

Lil - Didn't recognize her with the hair extensions, and frankly the performance was pathetic. Nothing more than good karaoke. She's going home.
Kris - It was an interesting take on the song. He takes chances, knows who he is, and adapts songs to his style. He could win this competition.
Danny - Good, but nothing really original about it in my mind. I like his singing, but frankly coming after Kris didn't help.
Allison - The judges didn't like the arrangement, but I did. I thought it was cool, and it was SO Allison. As I watched her, I could only think to myself, "Is she really only 16?". No copy cat here.
Adam - Ok, he's very talented, and I loved the way he started the song. It was very original and he has amazing range. I still hate him as "a rocker", and when he screamed the notes again in this more ballady styled song, he lost my interest.
Matt - Kind of cool, and he is an entertainer. However, it was not enough to save him from the bottom three.
Anoop - I was bored out of my mind. Bottom 3, and he may have done just enough to save Lil!

Adam is not a 'rocker' - but he seems to play one fairly well. I think he should do musical theater since he seems to be so adaptable, but he could just as easily front ANY of the carbon-copy psuedo-rock bands that are popular right now (Hinder, Staind, BuckCherry, Theory of a Deadman, etc.). Randy's comment about being "ready right now" was spot on...he just needs to be picked up by a producer.
Lil is boring. I REALLY hope last night was her swansong.
Kris rocked. He was my favorite last night - I thought the Santana-ish arrangement was very cool.
Danny was OK.
Allison was OK.
Matt - meh. He can sing, but he's kind of a goober.
Anoop - it's past time for him to go home. Boring, boring, boring.
Since we get to lose two tonight, I really hope they drop Lil and Anoop.

Me too! Definitely an Adam fan...
Is it just me, or am I the only one that thinks Matt could actually be a Justin Timberlike-like artist with the right producer and material? I personally don't like him as an artist from what I've seen him do on his own thus far, but I still think he has a decent voice and could be fairly marketable.

The two that should go home are Lil and Anoop. No question about it, IMO...

I like Matt but he isn't my favorite. I wish him luck tho.

Y'all are either young or young at heart!
I wish Adam well, he should go far, but I just don't get it. He has incredible control of his voice, it's what he does with it that drives me from the room.........
I can't get out of my head what he did with the Johnny Cash song...

I can't get out of my head what he did with the Johnny Cash song... Well, I am a lot, lot, LOT, LOT, LOT younger than Pale, but I happen to agree with him on Adam. I think he will do well, but I just don't really care for his voice.

Well, I must be in the young at heart club because I was kicked out of the "young people" group quite a while ago! There have been a few songs that Adam has done that I just didn't quite get, but man, the kid has talent that just can't be ignored.

I wish they would say who the top vote getter is each night. I have to think that Adam has been getting the most. I mean, I would be willing to bet that even those who don't like him tune in to see what he will do.IMHO
I would also enjoy know how Kris has ranked. He has really suprised me.
If Annoop and Lil get the boot tonight (And I hope they do) The rest are all "Idol" material.

The Johny Cash song was my favorite. I need to download to my ipod or get it as a ring tone. Adam is amazing. But, I agree, that Lil and Inoop should be on there way out.

I agree with Pale and Bones. I've said before and I'll say it again...the sight and sound of Adam makes me Geez, I hope he doesn't win, cuz then he'll be on every tv show out there. . . .And I will be required to change the channel! (BTW - It seems the judges and world have already made up their mind anyway... a la David Cook.) -
