Kris's album comes out this week, I think. He already has a single or two getting airtime.

I watched Adam Lambert's performance and I am sad to say that I did NOT care for it at all. The song, the performance AND his singing.......I felt like he was completely screeching at the microphone the entire song....WAY over done.

I also didn't care for the antics......and I would say the same for ANY artist that would perform on a show that will be aired on public TV...including the Madonna/Britney kiss and even Shakira's dance moves that night. I just don't feel it was appropriate for a show whereby the music is completely geared towards the much younger audience.

JMHO.

I bought Kris's CD over the weekend. I have only listened to the whole thing once so far. It is good, but not really what I expected from him. I expected something more "stripped down" and acoustic, versus what the album actually is.

Can someone who watched recap what the "antics" were during Adam's performance? I missed the show entirely.

He was going for "shock" value and probably to stimulate interest for his upcoming debut CD. I personally do not plan to buy it.

I admit he has talent, but his vocal style is not for me. Now......Danny Gokey on the other hand......lol

I got Kris' album. It's ok, but I guess I expected more out of him than I got.

No interest in Lambert.
