There was no comparison last night - Adam and Allison left the other two in the dust. I thought Kris' song was kinda cool, but Danny actually made me cringe. Dream On should *never* be attempted unless you KNOW you can nail it...it's a freakin' icon!

Adam - not even in the same league as the others, though I still think he's too made up and too theatrical to really be a 'rocker.'

Allison - rock my face!

Kris & Danny - the harmonies were great, otherwise is was ok karaoke

Adam and Allison - WOW. And for the first time, Allison looked like she had fun instead of like she was about to throw up.

I didn't see a lot of it, but Danny should have never tried to sing Dream On - I would have liked to have seen Adam sing it though.

I saw Allison's and Adam's duet and saw the recap. Danny's finale on Dream On was painful to me.

I like Allison. Adam is just tooooooo over the top. Not Idol material.

I agree last night definately favored Adam and Allison. I think it would have been better for Allison to sing a Heart or Joan Jett song. But I still think she did really good with what she did. The duet with Adam was great, I think Kara said it best, they were pushing each other to do better.

I agree this is when the show gets tough. Anyone of these will IMHO have some success with an album.

Adam = I missed Adams part (Was still mowing the yard) will have to see it on web later today.

Allison = Thought she did better than the judges said. It is kind of hard for me to listen to her lyrics knowing she is 17 and could not actually have lived what she is singing.

Kris = I thought it was good. The music was realy good. I would pay to have seen that performance live in concert.

Danny = While I agree it was not the song to attempt. I think he knew he would get through no matter what he did, so he took the challenge and pressed it. I think it wasn't as bad aa the judges made it out to be. When they played the clip again at the end, I thought it really was pretty good.

I am afraid today, I think too that Kris wil go tonight, but it could be Allison. Although, I will say, I think there could be enough people who are sick of Simon praising Adam, that they may just vote him out.

I enjoyed all the performances last night (except Danny's solo). This was heavily weighted towards Adam and Allison, as they are rockers and the other two, well, aren't. However, I really thought Kris did a good job with his song. Could it have been better? Sure, but it was still Kris, even rocking.

For the first time, I didn't see Adam as a musical theatre guy PRETENDING to be a rocker. He seemed more natural. Maybe his acting has improved.

Bottom 2? Danny and Allison. Going home? Danny.

We watched "The Mentalist" again.

Perhaps you could sub in a couple of Pantera CDs?

Well, sorry to see Allison go. My guess is that all the young girls voting were going to the three guys, and there just isn't as many guys going ga ga for her. But at this point someone has to go. She will do good, and will do well. Why is it after they have been voted off and they d their swan song, it is always better. I thought she absolutely nailed it last night.

Thought Paulla looked like a 47 year old woman trying to act like 23 yr old. And who is this No Doubt group. BLAH!!!!!!! And did I hear her right, she reproduced? SCARY!!! We will be paying fo that kid some day in the system.

I DVR'd the show so I could fast forward to Daughtry's performance, I was hoping they would actually play some heavier rock.

Shame to see Allison go. I think she's much better than Danny. I'd like to see Adam go - just don't like him.

DD - No Doubt is a group from the 90s. The lead singer gave some time up with the band to do a solo album (much better than any No Doubt album, imo) and have children...She really does have a good voice, but she went back to her pseudo-punk roots last night....

You know, I have to admit. When they chose Kris in teh final 12(13), I thought, Why Him? Then he has turned out to be pretty good. I can't ever see him being the top act, but he is definately easy to listen to.

I think Kris will be a housewife darling ala James Blunt and Jason Mraz. Not my thing... but whatever. It takes all kinds, right?

I think Danny should have gone before Allison. He's in over his head now.

Going home last night could very well be the best thing to happen to Allison. She'll get to make a more her album placing fourth, and won't be Kelly Clarksoned. (Remember her first album and how little control she had over it?) Allison will have a successful career, and going 4th gives her even better prospects than winning.

I will miss Allison for sure, but I think you're right, BF.
