Best part of the night is when she started singing with bikini girl and the girl was just looking around dumbfoudned wondering where the singing was coming from. I'll be youtubing that all day.

I don't think Kara ripping her dress open to reveal the bikini was staged and rehearsed like the security thing. Bikini girl did NOT look very happy when Kara started overshadowing her. Sure it was staged on Kara's end, but I don't think bikini girl knew it was coming.

And Kara def looked after she tore her dress open to reveal the bikini. And by the comments it looks like it was a last minute bet that she took from the judges, Ryan, et al.

Nope. Not the only one. If you may recall, I posted a Steve Martin banjo performance as a BYTFM one time.

Bikini girl was the whole time.

Kara had a dress on and tore it open at the end of the performance to reveal a bikini (and a killer stomach ). However, I think she quickly regretted that decision, as she looked as all heck and looked like she couldnt wait to leave the stage.

A few things you may not realize about the finale...

1. They changed several performers songs the day of the show! (Lionel Ritchie & Danny for one)

2. Neither Kris nor Adam knew what or who they were singing until 24 hours before the finale! Yup, they learned all those songs in a day.

He almost didn't make it into the show at all.

1. He was highly criticized for being too humble and having no personality in his audition.

2. He had to do a sing off in order to make the top 36.

Something tells me all the Gokey fans voted for Kris since Kris and Gokey are more alike. Even Kris said it, "Adam deserves this." But, as other Idol runner ups have shown, Adam will have a fantastic career. Look at Chris Daughtry--he was 4th!

Actually I enjoy blue grass and will probably go get his CD. Steve martin is an amazing person.

I think the Tatiana bit was staged, if they really wanted her off the stage, she would have been gone and they would have killed her mic.

And, why did they blank out part of the song that Shikera and the black eye peas sang?

Fergie, you mean? I heard on the radio this morning there was a part that WillIAm wanted censored in some way because he didn't think it'd be appropriate for that many people (meaning the whole Idol audience). Think maybe that was the reason, although Fox didn't do it.. American Idol did it.

I don't buy it. I can't see why they would let a potentially unstable person on stage to cause a scene on live TV. Especially after that nutcase attacked that girl the day before.

Did anyone notice Adam and Allison holding hands and hanging on each other after Kris was announced as the winner. I wonder if there is something between them?

Did not hear about the bikini girl attaking someone the day before. I just thought the look on her face and how she pulled away when Kara approached her looked pretty genuine.
