i've watched every season so far but for some reason, i'm not sure i'm "into it" this time

If the reports are true and there will be less footage of the freaks and more footage of real singers, then that ruins it for me.

I'm never into it in the beginning. But as it airs, it usually gets more interesting.

I think the auditions are the best part of the show. I'm gonna try to watch.

I'll most likely have it on, but since I'm about 200 pages behind in the January page count contest, I'll be reading while I 'watch.'

I like to watch the train wrecks and also see who has the talent that they let slip thru...

Don't worry, there is still Simon, and the new judge is supposed to be a hardass too.

Oh, and I'll be really into it once the auditions are over and the competition begins, providing my anaysis each week.

Can't wait..... The auditions are good, but I really get into it toward the final 12.

Believe it or not, I just got John Steven's album yesterday. Mostly because I couldn't decide on which old time crooner's album to buy and decided to go with the new guy on the scene.

FYI: This year, there's a new setup for the show. Instead of more and more bad auditions, there will only be two weeks of auditions, followed by more of Hollywood week, two or three weeks of the people in what was really one week. The idea is to give all the contestants more air time before the final group is announced, putting them on more even footing, and giving people a better chance of making their mark and building a fanbase.
