We require address changes in writing but it is inconvenient for the customer. What are your thoughts on taking address changes by phone if depth identification is done? Phone identification most often is better than checking signatures anyway. For customer convenience and with proper identification would it be ok to take address changes by phone?

If an address change is taken by phone, our financial institution requires that two different employees verify the customer's identity and verify the address change information. Those two employees then sign the change of address form so that we have documentation of dual control over this function.
