We have maxed out the record at 31 days in July over 100 degrees here. That one can never be beaten. LOL. Since June 12, we've had only one day that didn't get to 100. It got to 97.  And I am getting ready to ride the bike to New Mexico! Its not teally a bike trip unless someone gets incinerated!

It is only 96 here today and will drop all the way down to 95 tomorrow.
However, the local carnival is in town and everything, except the rides, is staffed by volunteers as a fundraiser for our local community. I am signed up to volunteer today and tomorrow. Unfortunately between work, the chamber, girl scouts and schools I am expected to volunteer quite a lot!!
I know the carnival has been around for 104 years, but I still think they should change the date!!

Yesterday we finished turning the well house into an air conditioned dog house! Now if we can just get them used to going in/out of the doggie door. Now all my pups can stay cool, it should save my flower beds from them digging to find a cool spot and I don't have to have 350 lbs. of dogs laying all over my house.

Happy B-Day, Okie! Last night the AccuWeather widget on my phone said it would get up to 105 today. This morning it says it will get up to 90 today. I like today's forecast much better!
