I've been told that I need to look into my diet due to my increased level of lifting and running now. I'll be the first to admit that I eat like carp with the processed foods, but it's fast and easy. With two kids and a very demanding job at the present time, I need fast. But if anyone wants to steer me in a better direction, by all means go ahead.

It's available for good phones as well as Android, yes.

I learned this morning, the voice sounds (maybe it's in my head, who knows) scarier when you're behind your target pace! I almost snapped back at her to calm down!

On the bright side, 6 animal crackers went over just fine. Not sure I noticed any difference one way or another. I wasn't sure how it would go, since my pre-workout recommends taking on an empty stomach, but nothing crazy happened.

Store brand, $1.99 for a 1 lb bag. No joke!

Tip:
Take some time on Sunday afternoon/ evening to grill a bunch of skinless boneless chicken breasts or thighs. Through out the week you have chicken to throw on salads, pasta, mini pizzas made on french bread, sandwiches or whatever sounds good.

^^^ Do the same with fruits and veggies. Wash and cut them up ahead of time so all you have to do is grab and go during the week! I try to fill my desk with fruit/veg snacks so I have something healthy to reach for when I get hungry.

In line with what they said...a marathon nutrition class I attended stressed the importance of whole/natural foods. He pointed out the longer the shelf life, the worse it is for you. Boxed and canned stuff should be a minimal part of your diet. Frozen stuff is a better option. Fresh is the way to go as much as possible.

He pointed out many examples of a healthy food that is processed into something unhealthy but the one that made us all laugh...chicken breast = good, chicken nuggets = bad.

I do that too. I feel like a dang grazing cow sometimes with all of the veggies that I eat.

Lots of blocked images on that list, 32 included! Also, beware partial nudity. Maybe best to visit this one on your iPhone (or other less amazing device wink )

This concept is a real key to success! Not planning meals is big reason for epic fail on eating. Planning ahead means that you made you eating decision when you weren't hungry and it removes the temptation for choosing fast and nasty foods. It really simplifies the entire thing. When I can tell you a 6am what I am eating for the entire day, I will eat well. When I wing it at each meal.......not so much. smile

1 meal from each place would give you enough calories for the day, you could probably turn this into some sort of messed up diet really. You might even lose weight crazy
