I know that birds in my neighborhood have been known to attack their reflections in car mirrors or windows.....
I've had encounters with bats, dogs, skunks, possum, deer, and bear - thankfully none was able to latch on and do that kind of damage....
I suggest the old boxer's trick of greasing your head with vaseline (or sunscreen) to the point that the bird just slides off when it strikes.

Works first time, everytime. Some folks prefer the S&W Govenor, but I'll stick with my Judge.

Unless you hit it in the brain or the heart, he is going to be extremely angry and will live long enough to either kill you or make you wish that he had..

You need to stop running in zoos clearly.
I'm wondering how I should handle running while on the honeymoon. I certainly can't just take 2 weeks off, but I'm not sure how good of an idea it is to run in Yellowstone and such. I don't want to have to fight a bear!

Ask the park rangers!
And I'd like to know where the guns are concealed in people's running outfits.

And I'd like to know where the guns are concealed in people's running outfits. They'll probably say not to, so they can spare themselves of liability if I get mauled! You wear a running belt with two bottle holders, but modify one of them to holster your "piece"!

I don't want to have to fight a bear! I've never had a problem with the bears there (or anywhere for that matter). I've seen more people have problems with the buffalo than bear. And all of them have been due to terminal stupid on the humans part. Strangley, not all the wild animals want to be petted or have their picture taken with soomeone.

It's also a question of if I have enough room to pack running stuff. Sounds like it wouldn't be a big deal, but it's a 12 day road trip that requires linens and kitchen supplies etc. for most of the cabins, and she's packing like we're moving there...so my poor car is going to be stuffed as it is! I'll have to make it work at least a few times while I'm there though, otherwise I'll probably go crazy.
