Current book: Moral Issues in Business. It's mostly fiction Oddly, a little interesting just due to the philosophical issues raised. I'm sure I'm the only one in my class that would say so. I think I'm still in the middle of A Prayer for Owen Meany, by John Irving as well, but haven't touched it since my last flight (September?). It's officially my "favorite" book, read it multiple times, on my second copy of it actually.

David Baldacci, "The Innocent". It's really good so far (about halfway through.)

Anne Canadeo, A Stitch Before Dying - decent "cozee" mystery
Julie Cannon, 'Mater Biscuit - excellent rural Georgia slice of life story, another one good for book clubs
Atul Gawande, The Checklist Manifesto - should be mandatory reading for everyone who wants to be efficient and effective in what s/he does. I'm almost done; it's very strong on the value of checklists but could use a bit more about the elements of good checklists, IMO.

Just finished The Cabal, Dan Hagberg. Never read him before, will read him again. Went to B&N yesterday to look for more books of his and they don't carry him, or any other authors under his publishing house - seems there is a dispute over revenue sharing

Just finished the Hunger Games trilogy. Wasn't big on the first book, but then saw the movie and loved the rest.

Finished the Outlander Tuesday night - thank you for the recommendations. I am a little leary of starting the second book but I bought it on Kindle anyway. 900+ pages. What more can happen to these people?????

Oh! I don't know if I can take anything else happening to poor Jamie! In my mind, he is the perfect man! (we need an icon with a tongue hanging out- LOL!)

I have read it and I liked it. I also read Crossed the second book to Matched and really enjoyed it as well. The only problem is, it is a triology and the 3rd book isn't out yet.
Divergent is a really good book too.

My SIL sent me a few books to try out: the Nightshade series by Andrea Cremer?

I've got Lethal Rider waiting in my Kindle, but am trying to finish Faith Hunter's Skinwalker (the first Jane Yellowrock book) first.

I'm getting the shakes from thinking about not reading for five days. So, still recommending Jane Yellowrock series?

I'm reading Mockingjay now on my Kindle (early bday present fromt he fiance). I'm not gettign into it as quickly as I did Hunger Games or Catchign Fire. I do have to say, though, that I love reading on a Kindle! The e-ink is fantastic and I think I read faster on it. Definitely read more comfortably I'm plannign 50 Shades or Grey next, if onyl to be able to relate to my bffs

So, still recommending Jane Yellowrock series? Yep. At least the first one.

Nearly finished with yesterday's Laurell K Hamilton "Anita Blake" release: Kiss the Dead. So far it's not the train wreck the last few books have been, but it's also been a bit slow plot-wise.

Just finished a book called the Undomestic Goddess. I read it in basically an evening, it was so cute! the end was a little predictable, but i love how the author writes the main character- she panics alot, and her thought process is pretty funny.
