Does she ever "break stride"? (Sorry, standardbred humor that only horse racing degenerates like me will get.) Made me laugh!

I did 30 pushups last night...still only 10 real ones. I'm not doing them every day though, maybe 2-3 times a week.

Still doing my pushups daily! Doing crunches too. I also started back working with a trainer 1 day per week in addition to my continuing physical therapy on my knee. The amazing part is that my trainer appt. is weekly at 6am. YIKES! That's VERY early for me, but I'm finding that I kind of like getting my workout in very early before work. My new gym (nationwide) is running a 12 week long contest from January 28th through April 30th. Largest percentage of weight lost wins $50,000.00. 1 female and 1 male finalist from each location win smaller prizes. I'm entering! Wish me luck!

If it's the gym I'm thinking of, I know last year's winner. Oh, wow, was it XSport Fitness? I think the last winner was from the Piper's Alley location in Chicago. Congratulate your friend for me if that's her!

Yayyy manimal!!! I registered for (and weighed in, and took my "before" picture) my Get Fit Challenge last night. I'm super motivated and feeling good. I'll be coming to you guys for encouragement over the rough spots (probably frequently) forthe next 89 days!

I did kittty pushups this morning. Thats where the cat jumps from the bed to your back and rides up and down while you do your pushups.
I'm glad we dont have a Tibetan Mastiff!

I made a goal to run at least 365 miles this year - mile each day. I am on mile # 38.5 for the month of January! Baby steps. That's a pretty awesome goal!

And in the crazy cold weather too QCL! I don't know how y'all get out in that kind of weather. I don't. I am running on the dreadmill or on an indoor track. Look for the miles to increase as the temperature does. Last night at the track I was surrounded by 100s of high school cheerleaders who were there for some competition and standing on the track. And then here come the runners. I remember those cheer days. But being part of the runner pack was cool too.

I had the strangest dream the other night... I was running a half marathon (HAHAHAHA like that would ever happen) and we were on the same course as full marathoners, we just veered off in different directions at certain points. Those points weren't always clear, which made choosing left or right somewhat difficult at times. Anyways, what makes this dream strange? The entire course was INSIDE someone's house. A really big house, sure, but really, brain? Where did that come from?

Running inside someones house shows that you need to buy new running shoes
