Running and riding everywhere ...

If it wasnt so far away, yes. But I have my heart set on the full marathon in Memphis...benefiting St Jude. It's not cheap. But you run through the campus with the kids that are able outside cheering for you.
If you're a parent, or runner, and didnt get goosebumps at that last sentence you have issues.

I don't have my own human If I did, they would surely get goosebumps from that though! Nothing better than a good race, except a good race with a great cause!

Still doing it...but can't boast about having never missed a day. I've missed roughly a week of days so far. I did a set of 24 this morning and added 96 at lunch. Thanks for dinner the other night, B Cubed. It was pretty darn good. And I couldn't ask for better company except to look forward the same group, only multiplied out to add the rest of this group. Next time, I'm buying and I won't be so flippin' worn out..and hopefully sans migraine. That was brutal!! But the Shock Top wasn't bad.

Didn't get the full quota in on 3/24, 3/29, or 3/31, but otherwise I'm still in.

Still doing it every day but not always getting past 75. Just depends on the day. Partial knee replacement is now confirmed for May 1st, so some of the challenge just went out the window. I got a serious reality check when the hospital called this afternoon to set me up to come over for blood work, meet with anesthesiology, and attend a 90 minute class on "So, You're Getting a Joint Replaced!" If that's not a wake-up call to reality, I'll stand around and wait to for the brick flying by to hit me in the head.
Still hoping for that Stryker X3 Triathlon miniature starship he's planning on installing and found out that if I end up with a total, I'm screwed because the hospital doesn't have a psych ward.
No blood on Kneepolean Blownaparte's blog yet, but hang in there BBB1, I'll post the good stuff when I get a chance.
When I told Tooltime Mark about the pushup challenge, he said he's offering a special on shoulders - especially since my shoulders have both been fixed and aren't whining. Just passing the info along in case anyone wants to join me in the orthopedic ward. ::whines and runs while running still possible::

I'm not doing pushups, my wrists and shoulders just can't handle them. But I am still running 10-15 miles a week and am now doing kettlebell workouts 3x a week.

I hope tool time wont feel bad if I dont take him up on the new joints just yet. Yeah I prolly need some, but I'm trying to get all my money out of these first.

Still doing pushups sporadically, but not as many as the challenge calls for. I am lifting weights at least 2 days a week, along with elliptical 3-4 days a week plus yoga 1-2 days per week. I'm not ready to run yet after the ankle break. I've gotten the ok to do so, but after sprinting through the Chicago airport to try to catch my flight home last week, my ankle got pretty swollen and stiff for a couple of days. I'll stick to the elliptical for now, and ease into running!

One Two, you are doing just fine! Ankles are picky, complex little joints. Let it have its time. All the other stuff is keeping you in the game nicely!

Les Mills Body Pump twice a week and just added cycle once a week. We do pushups in body pump now but I have to to most of them on my knees since its AFTER we do a bunch fo other shoulder workouts and I am plumb fatigued! He's some news though...I can do puchups on my hands nwo without grips and not hurting my wrist. seems the last 3 months have helped my wrists I still have to be careful with them, but pushups are no longer an issue. its awesome.

Don't be put off by Pup of BBB's obsessive zeal, it's really not about the numbers, as has been said many times before, just doing more than you have before and making a positive change. Good for you and keep up the hard work!

Nobody ever said healthy couldnt be entertaining!! Glad your with us! On another note. Last night was a near record night at racquetball. I broke the strings on two racquets and broke one racquet. Winning is expensive!!

Triple B, you do know you're supposed to use those squishy bouncy blue raquetballs, not sharp stones and 200 pound boulders, right? Bluesfan, welcome & way to go! I don't think I'll be able to continue with the "real" numbers now that we are over 100 days into the year, but I'm going to continue doing daily pushups and situps which is way more than I used to do. I'm so glad this thread got started and all of us get to benefit from the support (and entertainment) provided here!
