Official time was 32:33 for me, 24:20 for the hubs. It was very cold and beyond crowded on the course, so I'm pleased with my time and VERY proud of the hubs.

As of today, I'm a professional runner! I made money by going out and doing my 5 miles (in 32 degrees!) this morning, found $2 next to the side walk!

Yeah I had about 150 yards before he flew past me like the wind!

I've actually left money lay on the ground because I did not want break stride or mess up my pace....

The Redman Triathalon was this weekend. I did not participate, but went to watch the transitions. It is an incredible event! I believe 8 countries were represented this year and there was media from all over the world.
The winner posted a 7:24:56!

I ran my third 5K Saturday. My chip time was 27:09, a bit slower than last week, but you should have seen the hill to the finish line. They should have borrowed a tow rope from a ski lodge.
The race was in Alton, IL, and just before that final hill, we had a gentle downhill slope, high above the Mississippi. A beautiful view.

After our race was an elite division race. The winner finished in 13:59. Unbelievable.

It's certainly amazing to see the times that some people finish with. We have several local racers that come in around 15:25 when they race. The smaller races aren't as competitive usually, finishers around 18:00. I could maybe see myself hitting that time, if I really work for it, but 15...never.

I was flipping through some old photo albums last night with some relatives that were visiting, saw some of my race results from high school. 17:23 and that was in JV races!
