The Hotel Maya in Long Beach is having an End of the World Party tomorrow. http://www.hotelmayalongbeach.com/eventsBut I see they still have Sunday brunch,Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day specials on the calendar.

The Hotel Maya in Long Beach is having an End of the World Party tomorrow. http://www.hotelmayalongbeach.com/eventsBut I see they still have Sunday brunch,Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day specials on the calendar. Well that doesn't show much committment to the End Of the World Party......

Snowmageddeon 2012!!
We're around 6-7", another 5-6 hours to go in our storm. Most of our competitors have announced early closure, so I'm thinking we might follow suit so staff can at least get home before dark.
Started with rain around 5 last night, turned to snow and dropped about 3" of pretty wet mush. Tow ban in effect for at least a dozen counties around us, snow plows have been pulled off the road in several of those (not here yet, thankfully). Tomorrow should be interesting!
