I don't care how silly I look tomorrow, I'm bringing in my heating pad to work. I'm sitting here in my work jacket, scarf, fingerless gloves, winter coat, and a sweater over my lap FREEZING!! Thank goodness I'm upstairs and have no customer contact whatsoever.

I was at the store yesterday and saw more than a few people in t-shirts or even long-sleeved t-shirts. It was 10 at the time with a wind chill around 0. Some people are just goofier than others.

"Middle of winter" in Florida is VERY different than "middle of winter" in Minnesota. I could prolly wear a tee shirt in FL this time of year and be plenty comfortable.

Do they even have winter in Florida? I mean, if the temp never gets below zero I am not sure it counts as a real winter.

I remember once standing quite literally on top of a mountain in winter with a heavy wind (wind chill -60) with a friend of mine and making the comment that at least it was dry cold.
He looked at me ant told me "The dry cold just froze your face."
We had gotten frostbite. Oops!
